One season popped up on netflix not long after a bee posted here about being on there... I did try hard to watch. It was hard. I couldn't handle the screetching.
I did laugh, though, at one scene where a bride ripped into their DJ for forgetting some song list she'd emailed him a bunch of times. She just dismissed him, and he walked to the door, and on the way out just looked at this woman's FI and shook his head and said "good luck."
I watched the episodes. The brides got crazy over stupid things.
Though a few times they had a right to be mad. Like in one episode, it was the day of the wedding and the flower girl and her parents didnt arrive yet. ANd it was past the time that the wedding should have started!!
Bahaha!
I can only hope they're egged on by the show producers and encouraged to up the drama. Though this does make me feel better about the comparatively stress-free wedding I'm having!
Two more things:
1. You get ONE DAY, chickadee, not ONE WEEK.
2. Your parents are paying? Quit being so disrespectful!
@Earlybride: Yeah, I can see being upset at that. In one of the first episodes I watched, the bride's mother bought a white dress with a black belt, then said, "But you told me to get a black and white dress!" LOL.
@automaticflowers: I just started watching this on netflix tonight too! these ladies are psycho!!! LOL I was NEVER anything like this during my entire wedding planning and I had a very stressful time...
@bestbuddies: Exactly! One bride keeps saying, "I know I'm acting spoiled, but it's my parents' fault for raising me like that." Uh, NO. You're an adult!
FI and I always manage to get stuck watching this for hours when we are visiting somewhere that has cable.
We always manage to catch it during a 54 episode marathon, so we waste half of the day. "come on, ONE of these (insert choice words here) HAS to have her day ruined... FOR THE LOVE OF HAM!"
We noticed it on Netflix streaming a month or so ago, and I jokingly added it to the queue, while he was in the room. We swore never to watch it.
FI was watching Kitchen Nightmares the other day and said "It's great Bridezillas isn't on Netflix streaming..." (Of course I reminded him, and he didn't remember me adding it, so probably in two weeks... "it's great that Bridezillas isn't on NS..." Silly FI.)
Oh, Bridezillas. Some of those brides are so crazy you never really forget them. Imagine my shock one day when I was watching Divorce Court and the couple looked oddly familiar. Lol. She was still bratty, dramatic, and crazy!!
@automaticflowers: ha! I am watching that one right now!!! She is a piece of work. The other girl on this episode is way worse though! wow!!
I LOVE it! It's one of those shows that I like to watch because it makes me feel so normal! My favorite was when the girl orders a chocolate cake, but switches it to Vanilla via a phone call. So when she goes to the bakery to see the cake like a day before the wedding, she decides she wants chocolate again and gets in an argument with the baker saying that she didn't call and change the order. The baker is like, "yes, you did and it's too late to change it". Then she screams "I WANT MY CHOCOLATE CAKE!!!" and slams her hand down into the cake! Then she storms out of the bakery saying that the cake better be chocolate or else. I couldn't believe people actually act like that! But it made me laugh

I know, tardy to the party but I don't have cable and they just added this show to Netflix Instant Watch. But does anyone else want to punch these women and knock them down a peg or two? I can't even believe how they still have any friends or family left by the time their wedding day arrives. I'd be out the first time she screamed at me or called me a bitch, haha.
