Bridezillas does the opposite for me. I had my bf watch it and he was like, I am so grateful that you are not like that. So it made him appreciate me more. lol
But this show makes me mad because as ugly as they behave someone still proposed to them. And I am nice, yet I still wait. lol
i hope your bf knows that you're not like the girls on bridezilla! they're very extreme. my fi will watch the show with me sometimes, we enjoy watching their crazyness. he knows he doesn't have to worry about me becoming a bridezilla though. he actually encourages it because i don't stick up for myself.
Artbee, there has to be some balance. I do agree with the bridezillas that if this is YOUR wedding and your day you should be firm in your wants however I do not agree with referring to your wedding party as your slaves or not taking your wedding parties' personal life into consideration. So stand up for yourself!...without hurting others.
My bf saw an episode and he was appauled, and told me if I ever get like that he'll call it off when we get engaged, which I agree with. The bride-to-be was so bossy and ordered her poor fiance around even when he was sweet to her. It is one thing you want things to be perfect and look great, but it is another thing to treat people badly in the process. People (Women) focus too much on the ring and the reception, but forget that the wedding is about the love you have for someone other than yourself. Our society is so ego-centric maybe that's why about 50-60 percent of first time marriages in the U.S. end in divorce. Sorry that's my rant for the day ha
@trugem: I totally hear ya because I feel the same way sometimes, but at least when your man finally proposes it'll be because you're too wonderful to let go rather than because he's scared NOT to! lol
@chipmunk: C has said something similar thing to me! "If you ever act like that , I'll be gone so fast your head will spin!" I tell him that's one of the reasons why I love him, of course. :) Some of those women are absolutely horrific!
Trugem- It does the same for me. He thinks the men that marry them are losers, as do I. LOL Although we are waiting, it's for a great man, not one who bends to our every whim, no matter how crazy!
hahah exactly!! I want a man with a backbone please! And no one should get treated like a dog because I bet if she were getting treated horribly she would say he's abusing her or somthing like that
Yes ladies I agree! I would get sick of the men on that show. And I'm glad to have a man that is not afraid of me. lol

So the BF called last night to see what I was up to and I said oh here watching Bridezillas.. He proceeded to go on and on about how ridiculous those women are and no one in their right mind would marry those phychos and how HE HATES HOW WOMAN THINK THE WORLD REVOLVES AROUND THEM THE MINUTE THEY START PLANNING THEIR WEDDING. So I start to laugh because...A)yeah these women are pretty phycho and B) the only episode he has seen with me was Karen which was the worst of them all!!! so I quickly changed the subject but gosh talk about making us all look bad!
