My BMs are wearing black tea-length dresses. That's on my to-do list as well. I'm still trying to decide what color I want to use. I'm trying to decide between hot pink and burnt orange. I think the pink would be easier to find. I've looked online, but haven't had any luck either. I've been meaning to look at DSW, but just haven't gotten a chance to yet. I was hoping that once all the spring styles come out, I would have more luck.
Hello! What kind of shoes are you looking for (flats, pumps, etc.)? And how many different colors do you want? Also, in that photo from the blog, they are all wearing different types of shoes (http://www.laurakayphoto.com/blog/2008/05/20/kelli-and-nick/), is that what you are trying to do?
If you want them to all wear the same shoes but in different colors, Miss Ballet Flat posted this link: http://www.davidsbridal.com/accessory_detail.jsp?stid=2214&prodgroup=167 there are many many colors to choose from! Not only that, David's Bridal has many other shoes that come in just as many colors. So check them out.
Also, I saw these on Old Navy the other day: http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/product.do?cid=37558&pid=613698&scid=613698002 However, they only come in 4 colors.
Hope this helps! :)
These are a solid color but with a flash of pink candy color and a jewel and heart on the toe truly makes the color pop. Plus this is a shoe I think most bridesmaids would love to wear again with the LBD.
I can totally see bridesmaids wearing this shoe!

I love this look and found red satin heels at target...They are surprisingly comfortable and inexpensive to boot!

I've found some great colored shoes (red and yellow in particular) at Target.
Dress designer Lela Rose is now working with Payless Shoes to design a line of bridal shoes for affordable prices ($40-50). According to Martha Stewart Weddings, there should be a new line of brightly colored shoes coming out in February. It says to check out the website (payless.com) but right now the site only has wintery (black and grey) colors up. Perhaps if you don't need them yet, you can keep checking back there?
i think that is a great idea! it will bring a lot of FUN to the black. i was excited (lol) when I read your idea, and its not my wedding! Anyways- think its a great idea, you should probably be able to find more shoes when spring stuff comes out if time's not a problem. There's also the idea of picking a style and having different colors, or picking a color and having different styles.
Great idea! I've found some inexpensive strappy heels/peep toes/etc at Target or at Payless in the past, so maybe give those a try? Are you looking for any color in particular??

Hey there! So-I'm going with black cocktail dresses in different styles, same fabrics to suit the different body types of my lovely bridesmaids. However-I'm leaning towards the trend of bright candy-colored bridesmaid shoes. Have searched online but haven't really found what I'm looking for. Anyone have any success with this? Don't want them to pay a fortune.
This is kind of what I'm looking for (the group shot)
