Not sure what kind of site you'd broadcast the wedding to with a webcam, but I just wanted to say that I think it's such a great idea for friends and family that can't be there!!
since i cant really recommend anyone to you (i've never done that) i'll tell you that if it were me i would google search
webcam live broadcast how to
and see what came up. maybe that'll lead you to some good websites.
good luck! this is such a cool idea :)
Oh, I've heard of this!...but I can't remember where
, sorry!
But, if you are hiring a videographer, it might be worth asking them (or if you're still shopping around for one, see if you can get one who offers the service). They might be more knowledgeable about that type of thing. (Or ask your photog -- maybe s/he has ideas.)
Do you have to do it live? It would be easier if you could just film it and send the video to them.
But a quick google search for "live wedding internet" came up with this: http://liveinternetweddings.com/
Thanks girls!
With your help I found this: http://www.ciscopress.com/articles/article.asp?p=465446
I thought I would post it here in case anyone else wants the info. I'm going to try it out at home and see if it works and then deal with getting it to work at my venue. I don't know if they have wireless internet I can use... but that's putting the cart before the horse I think.
I'll let you know how it goes

Hi Guys,
My FI and I live in Singapore and are getting married here in January. Our immediate families are making the trip here (his from the US and mine from Sri Lanka) but some of our friends and relatives wo can't make it have asked if we could broadcast the ceremony live so they can 'be there' with us. We are expecting the ceremony to be no longer than 20 mins.
Does anyone have any ideas on how we might be able to do this?
