Wow, that should NOT happen to a ring! Were you doing anything that could have damaged the metal somehow? Where did the ring come from (I haven't been impressed with what I hear about chain jewelers)? I hope warranty covers it!
I'm sorry to hear that! Of course, this is a first for me! I've never heard a story like that! I really hope it's covered!
I don't do anything weird would cause it to break- I'm an elementary school teacher! I got it from E.E. Robbins, which is somewhat of a chain but only in Seattle (3 locations, I think). Thank you for your sympathy! :) My ring is made of palladium, which I didn't think would be THAT easy to break!

So my engagement ring BROKE. IN. HALF. I have no idea how. I just looked down today because my finger felt weird and there was my ring, all twisted and broken in half. Amazingly, none of the pave diamonds or the center diamonds fell out. I still don't know if the warrantee covers it. I took it in to the jewelers, but the lady said that she didn't know what was covered, so it has to get sent to corporate. My wedding ring didn't break at all, which is wonderful, but I'm still upset!
