My best childhood friend growing up had a pair of bronze baby shoes. Now she is pregnant and I was considering giving her a gift certificate towards “bronzing” her own babies shoes. I’m not sure if this is really that popular anymore but because her mother had it done for her I thought it would be sentimental…here are my options- which would you prefer as a gift?

3 or 5! every kid gets books… so if it were me getting the gift – id know exactly what to do with them and where theyd go. i think 5 is simple and still adorable, but im afraid that if it were me id love them but be like okay… now what should i do with em. lol.

@wifegoodman: That’s a really good point…my only concern is that the wood won’t match the furniture in the baby’s room (she lives in a different state now so I wouldn’t see the room), I guess that’s not such a big deal though! I know what you mean about #5….I think that her shoe was preserved like that option- pretty simply…I am pretty sure she had one shoe and her mom had the other but I can’t really remember!

@soy: I think thats a very nice gift, particularly if her mother had a pair of hers done.

you could do 5 and put them in a shadow box frame ?! then it can be hung up on the wall ?!

I like 5! It gives her loads of different options to do something with them 🙂

I love option 2 and think it would look really nice displayed in the babies room.
