I’m literally on the internet EVERY day trying to find a “pack” of brooches or some sort of a deal where you get a bunch. I can’t stand the though of shelling out 15.00 EACH brooch. Serious budget deviation lol. I looked on etsy and homemade ones are 300.00 :/

they sell lots of brooches at places like kohl’s & steinmart, and the ones i’ve seen have been like $3 or $4. i think you just needa get out there (armed with a coupon) and look!

Sorry the picture is HUGE and some of it got cut off on the right.  But they are great brooches/pins at a great price.  I bought $15 for about $45. Cannot beat that.  ๐Ÿ˜€

I LOVE THEM!

But, can I ask a question?  What are you having your bridesmaids carry?  A smaller one?  Or flowers?  anyone make one already?  how hard is it?  Please let me know!  Thanks!

@peaches4bruce: Yes, I was never a huge flower fan so I am staying away from it as much as possible.  It’ll also save me a ton of money.  I will probably only have flowers for our outside ceremony which will be provided by the inn.  I’m not sure about the inside yet, but that’s to be decided at a later date. ๐Ÿ™‚  There’s all different sort of things you can do.  I just try to be somewhat different.

@DesireeAnne: Thanks for passing on this source. Did you see the butterfly brooch below?

What a great accent it would be on a flower brooch bouquet, or for those with a butterfly or garden theme.

@DesireeAnne: so now im searching it and I LOVE the idea!  I too am not a huge flower girl and honestly wouldn’t have them if it wasn’t “NORMAL” LOL Can I ask what are you doing for your mom or FI mom?  A clutch too? A single brooch? How about the flower girl? Normal bouts for the guys? This is very new to me however in just a few short mins, I think I might go this way! LOL

@julies1949: Your welcome! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m still doing a ton of research on where to buy brooches.  I have yet to use Ebay or Etsy.  I find that a lot of people are asking too much.  I don’t care to spend the money on the brooches because it is something different (but now becoming very popular), but I also don’t want to pay $30 for 5 brooches.

I am planning on buying that brooch!! It’s beautiful.
