im doing a brooch bouquet for me and regular rose bouquets for the girls.
I was thinking that too..i wanna make a brooch boquet too but I wasnt sure about the girls..i think roses..possibly purple since that is my color..have you started yours yet??
I've started by buying wire... big start I know! Eyeing up some brooches on ebay and in a few sales.
I like the idea of quite simple bouquets of all the same flower for the bridesmaids. I was even considering pomanders for them but then they're more of a flower girl thing??
Are you going for a dark or light purple??
i would vote get them a clutch with a nice brooch on it. the seller i am probably goin to get my brooch bouquet from has these and im totally usuing it for inspiration here is her etsy shop. i also had a post asking about the clutch ideas and there are some great inspiration pictures here is that post. hope that helps!
I'm thinking of doing flower bouquets for the bridesmaids each with a large brooch on the handle. I'm not sure about the flower girl haven't even thought about that yet
I'm having my girls carry real bouquets that are made with only greenery instead of using flowers while I carry my brooch bouquet. I haven't decided yet what to do about the flower girls.
I am giving serious consideration to having my ladies carry a blinged out clutch. That way they sparkle too and they have a place for all of their necessities.
i love the clutch idea... i thought of it only after i had ordered their bouquets... coulda saved me some bucks, haha. oh well!
I am also doing a brooch bouquet. Since we are having a country wedding in the mountains, my girls will carry wildflower bouquets. I found a great store on Ebay to buy the brooches. That's where most of mine came from. I don't think it would be good to post the name of the store on here but if anyone wants to know where the best deals for brooches on Ebay are then just send me a message!
My girls will be carrying bouquets that aren't related to mine at all. My brooch bouquet is all white/silver/pearl/cameo. Theirs will be peacock colors (blue, purple, green, gold) with a couple feathers worked in. We have a sort of vintage rustic theme going on too. We have a black and white theme overlapping with a jewel tone/peacock theme. I think it's ok to go in different directions with the bouquets. You are the bride after all. It's your job to stand out.
If I was having a brooch bouquet, I would have normal ones for my BMs and FG. But I would place a Brooch similar to mine around the stems to tie it in.

I'm considering making a brooch bouquet for myself as I am going for an old fashioned vintage feel wedding... "vintage travel" we have named it.
Anyway I need inspiration and fellow bees on here never fail to deliver with this.
Those of you who have had/are having brooch bouquets what have you had/do you have for your bridesmaids and flowergirl??
I had thought of wrist corsages with brooches in, just normal plain bouquets for the bridesmaids and a button pomander for flowers girl and then just got confused!
