Nice! Finding brooches can sometimes be so hard especially on e-bay.
http://www.fabulousbrooch.com/
They sometimes have some good and cheap brooches.
I bought like 10 from them for my bouquet.
Just in case you need a few extra =)
I'm making one of these as well. I'm a waiting bee, but BF and I know we want to be together. His mom bought me 30 of them. I have bought 6. My mom has bought 7. I think I am set, however there are 2 other people looking for me as well. Maybe I will get CRAZY creative and make some for the hypothetical BMs. :D
Great start though! And the "bring a brooch" idea is awesome!

I've been keeping my eye out for brooches the past couple of weeks for my bouquet. I gave up on ebay and starting checking out resale shops. Between 3 shops, I scored 26 brooches and 8 "mini" brooches (4 pair of earrings) for about $100. Only a couple were $10, but those were huge pieces. Most were $3-$5. I'm kinda giddy. I think between these and asking for my bridal shower guests to bring a brooch/earrings from their jewelry box instead of gifts, I should be set for my bouquet. Wheee!!
