Found this online... not cut his hair but is it possible to get a trim just so it would have a little style to it? His hair looks wavy so he may have to straighten too LOL
I just thought this longer hair looked pretty hot when I saw it

actually this style might work better with his hair... very similar just blow dry and use some product

I know his hair is longer than this, but perhaps it can be styled sort of like this?

Do you have a hair stylist who is taking care of your hair for the wedding? If so, perhaps she or he can give him a masculine style without actually cutting his hair.
If you go to this page, pretty much all the pictures have a long-haired man in them, and while some of them don't look fantastic I think they all look pretty masculine in their suits.

Kudos to you both for the locks of love run!
ETA: thanlon 88, I think my heart just melted. And you're right, that hairstyle would look great on her brother.
ok the brother... how old, is he single? i have a lovely pretty 18yr niece who is recently single :)
oh wait.. focus.. yeah, hair is very cute - i like thanlon's and Kates ideas, sorry i hate keith urbans hair
@eloping: 17, will be 18 in 1 month. ;) And yes, single. Super smart - already done with his freshman year of college. ;) Sound good? haha. Now that I'm done bragging on him..
@thanlon_88: That last one does look a lot like his hair. I'll have to make him try out some products. :) I agree w others though, Keith Urban's hair would look feminine I think.
@HappierKate: I do like that too. Hmm.
We were looking at David Beckham earlier (that man can seriously do no wrong with his hair). Lol.
@AmeliaBedelia: oh geez, lets swap - 18yr got a free ride to university via her part time job (its Mcdonalds but whos going to diss them paying school fees right), 5ft 9 and thank god shes got her mothers (my SILs) personality and good looks (meaning not my side of the family lucky her!)
he can always just tie it back in a pony tail - some of them are pretty cute on guys
@eloping: Sweet! And they won't have any loan debt. Brother got scholarship as he was number 8 in his HS class. He's 5'11 I think, so not super tall, but certainly not short. Soccer goalie, loves to run, wants to be a french teacher, good with children... :p I think it's a match. When should we tell them? Lol
We were looking at ponytails. He wears them for soccer and swimming. Well sometimes he just wears it half up, which I think looks pretty nice. Kind of like this:

@AmeliaBedelia: hahaha - scary thing, im coming to the US in a couple of months, i might start torturing her by saying ive arranged a marriage for her!
not liking that beckham one - looks too high on the head for me
@eloping: Haha you should! I'll tell him he has a mystery date to the wedding.
Yeah, the Beckham one is a little too...done? I think?
i cant tease my niece tonight - apparently its pole dancing class night (roll eyes-yes, she actually does this while her brother does his kickboxing class)
what about something like this - although i do like his hair out

@eloping: Haha. Oh lord. Apparently my brother is letting a girl he knows braid his hair right now...... Obviously not for good, but eh. Lol.
I don't mind that ponytail, though I think I prefer a bit less....gel? Or whatever? It looks almost too slick.
Beckham had a braid period i saw on google - didnt like it much
when my brother married my eldest nephew was one of his groomsmen and he was going through his hippy dreadlock stage - looked nasty and the more the brides mom complained about it the more he kept making it nastier
@eloping: Hahaha. Well luckily we've determined he's just letting the girl braid it because he thinks she's cute. Boys. :p It'll last probably 2.3 seconds.
I agree, not a huge fan of it. Beckham usually can do no wrong IMO, but that wasn't one of the more flattering phases.
I imagine some of FI's family may have some comments to make. They think long hair is "girly." We'll ignore them and enjoy the fact that he's doing something nice that he feels strongly about. :)
I like the Beckham ponytail, but overall imho, it doesn't look too bad the way it is - I think just using a bit of hair product would go a long way!
@SugerPlum: I agree. Gonna have to get some hair product. :) I got him some nice shampoo & conditioner & deep conditioner for Christmas, lol.
Do any of you guys have a good recommendation for wavy hair?
I like it as is! Straightening it, while awesome for Swayer, makes it look a bit too oily if it's more brown than blonde.
@ohmybears48: True. We tried straightening it and it did look strange/greasy.
He and I both like the second picture the best! The one of Joe Nichols. We're gonna go buy product this weekend and see what happens.

My brother is growing out his hair to donate to locks of love (or some other similar organization.) He and I both are doing this, and he does it often. I'm NOT going to ask him to cut his hair just for my wedding (that is ridiculous) so...
He and I were talking today about how he should wear it to look nice at the wedding. He doesn't want to look too feminine, but we just aren't sure.
Does anyone have any suggestions or pictures we can use as an inspiration??
Here is a fairly recent picture, taken about a month ago.
