Since your spotting is progressing to clotting I would give your doctor another call to see if you can get in before Tuesday to have your HCG and progesterone levels checked (as noted in the last thread you posted). We can’t really tell you if you will miscarry or not just based on some bleeding, as it happens to a lot of women in early pregnancy and can go either way. The fact that you saw a heartbeat and are measuring on track is a good thing, but other than having those two blood tests done there’s not much else you can do but wait and see. It could be that there is some bleeding at the site of implantation and that it will resolve itself. I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks last year and it was pink/reddish spotting for a while, then I started to see small bits of tissue for about a week. When I finally miscarried it was huge red clots and heavy cramping. I hope the bleeding/spotting stops soon and things get better for you.

DiamondnLovey:  I had some brown spotting with a few clots early in my last pregnancy.  It was normal for me.  Brown blood = old blood.  Red blood = new blood.
