Well I’m a nurse. It’s almost unheard of to get a false positive. Def go to the doctor… Spotting and cramping can be Normal for some women!

Brown spotting is also usually just old blood, not new bleeding, and I had lots of cramping up to about 7 weeks. I wouldn’t give up hope just yet!

I never had spotting with either of my pregnancies, but definitely had period-like cramping until about 8 weeks. Keep us posted. Fingers crossed for you!

I only ever took one test and it was not that dark. False positives are unheard of. Stop taking them!!

Spotting & some cramping can be totally normal. I actually didn’t know I was pregnant until about 8 or 9 weeks because I had a lot of brown & dark like burgandy spotting. So much that I thought it was a weird period. I’d stop testing!! Lol Confirm your pregnancy with your doctor.  Congrats!

I also didn’t have spotting, but I had terrible cramping until around 7 weeks!

Just a side note… dollar store tests are not EARLY PREDICTION tests… so its likely those will be faint for a while! I guess there has been some confusion with that! they’re best for after missing your period. I used one 7 days late and BOY was that puppy DARK!

I would refrain from stressing out about it and just take one a day until they get almost as dark as the control. brown spotting is old as others have shared. and the spotting and cramping can be normal for some women!

@Jilliebean1:  I just have to LOL because I’ve never seen so many sticks! Really, you’re pregnant, some spotting and cramping is normal, stop peeing on sticks because it will only make you more paranoid. Congratulations and try to relax -it’s better for the baby! 🙂

I just wanted to add that when I had a chemical, I never got a positive on the CBE digital, so in my book that’s a VERY positive sign. FX for you!

@PandasWifey:  I had light brown spotting and cramping at 9 and 10 DPO.  I still have cramping at 12 DPO, but the spotting has stopped.
