Brunch lovers, how does this menu sounds for a brunch reception?

Screwdrivers are another simple drink, or Bellinis. I would maybe stick to regular French toast instead of blueberry; I LOVE French toast but am not a huge fan of fruit in it, so I’d probably pass on that. I would maybe keep toppings for that sort of thing on the side. Whipped cream, jam, syrup, stuff like that. I’m a vegetarian so I’ll avoid commenting on the meat selections, I’m no help there. The menu sounds yummy 🙂

That. sounds. delicious.

And, I’m actually not even a breakfast person, so I think your menu does a good job of catering to a broad audience. (For instance, I dislike syrup & french toast, & I also dislike eggs. But, the fresh fruit & muffins, along with one of the meat options would be perfect for me.)

Btw, I’d go with bacon. I love sausage as well, but you know what they say.. bacon is the candy of meats 😛

It sounds great! I would go with bacon over sausage, I think bacon is a  more popular choice. Would it be possible to include both so people have more options? If you are looking for another alcoholic beverage I would add Bloody Marys.

and I second the idea of knowing with regular French toast and having toppings on the side. I love French toast but wouldn’t eat blueberry French toast

Sounds great! Another vote for bacon over sausage.

If you choose another alcoholic drink, I’d suggest a bloody mary.

@regit45:  yummy! I love sausage but I think you should go with bacon! Maybe you can do French toast with choice of topping? Blueberry strawberry or apple maybe? Your menu sounds delicious!

@regit45:  u should get one of those make ur own waffle things they are sooo fun … or hire someone to do a crape station … it will add a bit of fun and impress alot of ppl io wouldn’t think it be to much 

 

the perosn just needs to bring a flat top heat thing and then spread the batter thing nad makethe crapes but it be soo fun he or she could do sweet crapes with banana berries or natella or just sugar and butter what ever it be really awesome if i did a morning wedding i soooo do that 

 

i dont think that would coast to much cause he only need to be there like 1 or 2 horus tops prob one bc. u dont normally serve food the whole time just for liek anm hour and it add alot

Btw, everybody in my family loves bloody mary’s but we literally only served one at our wedding with 100 people. I think it’s one of those drinks people wouldn’t be into unless the food works well with it. In your cause I wouldn’t go with them.

I would probably go with bellini’s or something else fruity.

@regit45: This sounds wonderful! I agree that the blueberries might be best left out as a side topping option. Maybe put out sliced strawberries, bananas, syrup, and whipped cream, too. And between sausage and bacon, I will always go with bacon so I am no help there 🙂
