I am planning a brunch wedding reception in March and would love any ideas, photos, suggestions you may have. It’ll be a “southern brunch” with biscuit bar, mimosas and macaroons (and doughnuts) (and a lot more food. we are huge foodies). Basically like a pinterest board threw up in my venue is what i’m hoping.

@amandasouthcarolina: Are you looking for decoration ideas? More food ideas?

@megz06: just anything, hah! it’s not an everday type of wedding so there may be something i’m not thinking of!

I’m having a brunch wedding too! One thing I saw that I might do is have coffee available prior to the ceremony. I read somewhere about brides who provided coffee, tea, doughnuts, etc. to their guests and I thought it was a really thoughtful idea. I’m not sure if the ceremony venue will let me do it though so I’ll have to ask. It’s a nice thought, though, and a good way to tide your guests over until the actual meal at the reception.
What time is your ceremony/reception? We’re having an 11 a.m. ceremony. Reception begins at noon with the buffet opening around 12:30-45ish.
I also saw on Pinterest a centerpiece made of doughnut-hole kebabs that were put in a vase. It looks way cooler and prettier than it sounds, haha.

@HeyKaraoke: hah! do you have a photo or link to the doughnut thing? that sounds neat!
i’m thinking 11am ceremony (i’m not really a morning person) and it’ll probably last like 15 minutes or so. The ceremony and reception are at the same place so everyone can go ahead to the reception right after.
i do like the coffee idea! i will def have it at the reception but the idea of it before hand seems nice, too.
