We are having a brunch reception and always planned to offer both Mimosas and Bloody Marys to our guests. Our venue also offers ungraded bars featuring each and we want to offer ONE of these two options to our guests. Below are the descriptions. Which would you prefer as a guest? FH and I are both mimosa people, but I was thinking our guests may prefer the Bloody Mary station… what do you think? Remember, we will still offer Bloody Marys if we do the Champagne bar and we’d still offer Mimosas if we choose the Bloody Mary Bar…
Champagne Effervescence Bar
Offer your guests a toast of distinction when you customize our classic champagne selections with a vibrant array of sun-ripened raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, tart cranberries, fresh orange and pomegranate juices, peach brandy and luxurious Chambord
Bloody Mary Bar
Begin with our selection of fine vodkas, add our award winning Bloody Mary mix, and choose from an array of accoutrements to build your own signature Bloody Mary. Includes freshly ground horseradish, crisp celery, fresh lemon and lime, Tabasco sauce, sweet cocktail onions, and our jumbo olives stuffed with creamy bleu cheese.

I freakin LOVE Bloody Marys but I think that more people like champagne. It might also be considered more “wedding appropriate.”

I am a champagne girl- Good champagne, not the cheap stuff. If it’s the cheap stuff, skip it. It’s not worth the calories and champagne headache.

mmm, that champagne bar sounds delicious.

This is really tough but I think champagne would appeal to the masses.

I love Bloody Mary’s. Literally love them. It’s a meal to me.
However, that said – I do think that it’s an acquired taste so the champagne bar would appeal to more of your guests.

I LOVE Bloody Marys, but I voted for champagne. Agree with PP that it’s an acquired taste, and that champagne is a little more elegant for a wedding. Who doesn’t love some fruit in their booze?

I would not even consider Bloody Mary’s- Champagne all the way.

I love bloody mary’s but most people don’t know how to make them well, so giving people options probably won’t be very helpful. Also, based on the description, it sounds like you’re really just picking the garnish for your drink- not creating the drink itself. The champagne bar sounds a lot more fun (and celebratory!), and like other bees have said, will probably appeal to a lot more people.
