We ordered a palladium ring for my fh because of the way the jeweler described it. Palladium is a white metal so it will not change colors it is softer but since it is not holding any diamonds we arent worried about it.

the one downside is that palladium cannot be resized as easily. i love that it doesn’t yellow though, and that it is very light.

i would go for the palladium one.

If she’s bothered a bit by scratches, have you considered tungsten? My DH doesn’t like scratches and we went with the tungsten from e-weddingbands because it doesn’t scratch, is quite hard, and never needs re-plating, and he absolutely loves it. The downside is that it can’t be resized, but e-weddingbands has a policy for getting new sizes because it can’t be resized. I’m afraid I can’t really help you with those metals though. My band is a polished finish white gold and I’d imagine that it’s difficult to maintain the brushed finish while getting regular re-plating and I don’t know anything about palladium.
