Ok, so I went this last Saturday and found the dress I love. The pics are not that great and definitely don't do the dress justice but it's just beautiful. My dilemma is that I do not want all eyes on my hips. I plan on wearing 3 inch heels so I will be taller. In the pics I am barefoot. I just love this dress though. It's so unique and I have never seen anyone in one like it before.

I didn't notice your hips in the picture until you mentioned them. The dress does give you a beautiful hourglass shape and I love the bottom!
it's gorgeous! it looks really great on you and I love the detailing. I don't think all eyes will be on your hips and I think if you love it, you should go for it!
I think the dress is gorgeous and I didn't even think about your hips until you mentioned it and even then I'm not drawn to them when I look at these pictures.
I like it! if you want to balance out the curves, maybe do a hairstyle with more volume? in my head, that works. I think you look great in the dress.

Okay I love the dress. Its different and very pretty. I think you look great in in. Having some hips is a very nice feature... well thats what my FI says. Hour glass figure is a wonderful thing to have. I think the dress is a perfect fit for you. If i didnt like it believe me I would tell you LOL.... Nice dress pick!
I really didn't notice your hips at all. The ruching is really flattering. I think it's a beautiful dress and I wouldn't hesitate to order it.
I always thought that I would have this big poofy princess dress and when I tried one on, it was so not me. It totally looked like the dress swallowed me whole. I want to look really pretty and sexy on my wedding day. I am thinking of doing a side swept hairstyle and some chandelier earrings since I won't wear a necklace with the dress.
I love the dress! It accentuates your curves in a good way, you look very proportioned.

that dress is gorgeous! and i don't think anyone will look at you and think of hips. even after reading and staring at the pic, i still don't understand why you think people will stare at the hips.
Also, the one I have on in the pic is way too big on me and the girl who laced up the back didn't do a good job.
I guess I worry about my hips because that is the one thing I would love to make smaller. I thank my daughter everyday for them since she was a large baby and is the reason I have them :( Love her though:)
I love the dress its beautiful!! I love one shoulder dresses but Im kinda scared they will be like the puffy sleeves of the 80's when I look back at pictures. I could be very wrong though.

Honestly that dress is beautiful on you, you love it I say go for it! And, no your hips are not a focal point.
I don't hate the dress, but when specifically looking to see if it makes your hips stand out, I would say that is does. It makes your waist look super tiny but for that reason, I feel it makes you look bottom heavy, specifically in the photo taken from the back. I know I am the small minority but wanted to share my honest critical opinion.
oh my gosh! what a gorgeous dress!!! i love it. and i think you look absolutely beautiful! It makes your waist look teeny tiny. i think your hips look great - very hourglass - not disproportionate at all. i'd go for it! and it'll be even better once you get it fitted!
I think with heels any largeness to your hips will be greatly reduced - it makes you look a little squat because of all the fabric on the ground. Once you're in heels, it should pull everything into a straighter, sleeker line.
Everyone will always have concerns with their own body. I really doubt anyone is going to be looking specifically looking or paying attention to your hips. They will be looking at the total gorgeouse package! Plus, I really don't think you have too much hip.
Beautiful!! What brand is it? (Maggie?) I do not think it draws any more attention to your hips, since there is a lot of detail elsewhere as well.
It looks lovely on you. I also think that this dress is better suited to those with some hip action going on. I do not like the way this style looks on a more boyish figure.
Uh, I think people will only notice your hips when taking note of what how tiny your waist looks in comparison. Having bigger hips is NO LIABILITY when you have a small waist. I'm pretty straight up and down, so I would love more hips. Love the dress, and you look FAB.
It's beautiful on you. When they tailor it specifically to your curves, it will look even better than the sample!

@monitajb is totally right. It won't be your hips that people will notice in that dress. It will be your skinny mini waist! Work it girl...the dress looks gorg on you =)
ORDER IT!! It is simply stunning on you and the only reason any eyes will be on your hips is from all the other girls who are envying your gorgeous figure!
