I have a bubble hem dress but I do not need it shortned.  I will however get a french bustle put on it but I won’t find out how much that will cost until August.

My bubble hem is costing $125 (I have to take a lot off- I’m short!) and am doing a French buslte, which cost $45.  She also has to take some off at the waist, which has some pick-up-like areas, and that also cost $45.

@Mrs.T: May I ask what dress this is and how much it costs? It looks really similar to the dress I like by Avant Mariee, but I’m scared the avant mariee dress is too pricey for me.

@clumsy: My dress is Allure 8526.  I only paid $640 for it!  Once I knew this was the dress I wanted, I called different stores that carried it and asked if they meet the price of where I found it cheapest (but was very far away from my house).  They were all willing to negotiate!

I have a slim a-line gown (Dallas Marie by Maggie Sottero) and the bubble hem + shortening train is $300
