O-H.... Hi ladies! I am new to this site (which I have fallen in love with over night), and wanted to introduce myself. I have a longer engagement than most in front of me which is great cause I plan on having a fabulous event, but doing everything I can myself. Anyone have any great venue suggestions in Columbus (Dublin/Hilliard) area that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? I would prefer to put money towards the honey moon!

    Welcome fellow Ohioan.  Clevelander her.

My cousin had her wedding at the Holiday Inn in Worthington.  It was a pretty good time - only issue was with the booze, but I think it was because she had a pretty tight budget.

There are a couple other Columbus bees that I'm aware of, I'm sure they will be much more help than I...

But welcome to the site.  Can't wait to hear about your wedding.

I used to be in Norwalk/Oberlin area! I will definately take a look at the Holiday Inn, Thanks! I would definately prefer some place that allows you to supply your own liquor because of my mom owning a bar, prices would be much better.

    Thanks

I-O!  Yay another Ohio bee!  I am having my wedding at Royal American Links (it's a little less than 30 minutes from Columbus near Polaris) and they're pretty awesome!  Unfortunately you can't supply your own alcohol though.  Good luck on your search though!  If you get the chance, pick up a copy of the Columbus Bride magazine which lists tons of Columbus area venues and is an awesome resource in general for all wedding planning.  I know that the Columbus Athenaeum, Kelton House, and The Lodge at Tuttle's Grove (which is in Dublin) allow you to bring your own alcohol though.  Keep us updated on your progress Smile
