In honer of so many brides finding beautiful dresses for such good prices, i though I'd start a thread for bees on a budget looking for insperation on low cost dress options with high style! After Alterations, and undergarments the cost of a dress can quickly rise!! Lets see all your dresses, the price, and where you bought it!
I'll start:
David's Bridal

$400 =] All I need is a few alterations. You have a beautfil dress, too! Woah, 99? Crazy!

I got mine from DB for around $450, including the long-line bra, slip and tax.

Hurray for not spending a fortune on your dress!!! =) Here is dress that I love..and it didn't bankrupt me! lol
I couldn't find a good pic of the front but you can get the idea...the bust needs taken in also.

Such beautiful dresses for a great deal! Mine is also from David's Bridal, for around $450:
Mine was right at $500 after tax, but thankfully I don't need a veil (gifted from a friend), special undergarments (too low-backed), or a crinoline. So really, I'll only have the alterations to pay for on top of the price, and the train snaps on and off, so no alterations for a bustle. It had been about $900, but I haggled them down to half off because it had JUST been discontinued so I bought their sample. Woohoo! 
Here is my find was already on sale for $699. Sales person brought it down to $499 before tax. So $528 with tax....But, here is the Kicker the shop threw in my Bridal Jewelry for FREE!!!!!... So yes a great deal..Alterations are need in the bust area to tighten it and to hem the front only 5'2.
@MissPumpkinPie: It's Alvina Valenta 9517 or something. It was originally around 4000, but I got it for 400 off of Craigslist lol
My mom bought my dress off a friend for way under $100. Just because she thought it was such a great deal & not knowing weather I would actually wear it or not. No way did I pass it up!! I loved it. :-)
I bought my dress from David's Bridal (style number Style 7WG9871 ) for $350! It was the last dress I tried on as I wasn't even sure if I would like it and I was plesantly surprised that I fell in love. <3 And to top it all of my mom made my veil too! $5 for the beads and the tulle was really really cheap too (can't remember how much but def. just a couple of bucks).
Loved my wedding dress and loved the price too :D

All the ladies look beautiful as well...Great way to inspire others that they don't have to spend a ton on a beautiful dress

I kind of really want to put my dress back on again.... is that like weird??

it's all about value not whether your wedding dress cost an arm, a leg and your first born ;-)
@ilovemyhotdogdog: Very true you don't have to spend an arm and a leg to look good on your day..It was my mission to still look good under 1.5k or even 1k...Shoot my FI told me he doesn't care what I wear even if it was a bathing suit (beach wedding), just to bring my butt to the alter lol.

WOW thats a stunning dress and an unbelievable price.
Your dress is so pretty, is the layer of lace a lilac colour flower or is it just the picture, because its beautiful.
My dress was originally $500, but i got it for fifty dollars off. it ended up being 479 after tax. I don't really need to alter it besides a bustle, either. Hooray!
Since it's empire waist I don't really need shapewear underneath, but I do definitely need a bra. I figure Ill invest in a good one that I can also wear after the wedding.
Mine was $149 at DB. I ended up spending an extra $100 on the slip + bra, and $40 on alterations. My veil was $10 on ebay. Altogether, for $300, I was very happy!
I'm not even engaged yet, but I am so impressed but how beautiful all your girls dresses are. This gives me hope that I can find a stunning dress without going broke :)

All your dresses are amazing. I am not sure where to go to buy my dress. I only know of Davids Bridal, where did you ladies get your dresses?

@wmontano77: My dress is from David's Bridal, but I went to local shops tht also had dresses in my price range. Just let your consultant know what your budget it (actually, lowball it a little bit because they will usually bring you stuff over your budget...so if your budget is actually 700, tell them 500 and they'll likely start pulling stuff out around the 700 range).
Unless they focus primarily on couture brands (Vera Wang, Modern Trousseau, etc.) I noticed that many bridal shops had a variety of prices.
Mine was $28 including shipping from Ebay. It's everything I wanted in a dress so I'm happy. Everyone here has such beautuful dresses for such great prices!
