- Wedding: April 2010
Ok so I’m an extreemly tight budget bride. I’m looking at $5000 and not a penny more for the entire thing.
I don’t have an "official date" at this time, but I know it will be before the end of the year and with my daughter’s school, trying to find a place for all of us to live, and paying for a wedding I have to try to find a way to keep my pennies lined up and counted.
I found these great invites at Michael’s by the people at "Bride Magazine" that are prefect for us. They are $39.99 a box of 40 and the best thing is this: Michael’s has a 40% off one item coupon in the paper every Sunday so I was able to get the invitations for about $25.00. So far I have two boxes and I will pick up another this week and if I can get a friends coupon, I will get the 4th box. They also have some really nice simple invitations that I’m planning on using for the save the date cards. And they have some great matching programs.
I LOVE that I can get 40% off of everything and pick it up over time so when there is a date I can just click print and pop them in the mail!!
Have you found any small ways to keep costs down on things for your wedding?
