hello!!!!! i t hink that's actually pretty low. i am also a budget bride looking for a florist. the best that i got was like 100 for the bridal bouquet, 25 for the bm's and 50-60 for the tables :)
good luck to us!!!!!!!
if you order your own- use costco! they are really cheap! I plan to use them, and I have heard good things from my planner.
costco is actually awesome if you do it yourself--- I used them back in high school when I planned the prom! But if you don't want the hassle that all sounds pretty good in price... do you have the time to put it all together day/night before with all the ladies to help out??
I'd say that's pretty dead-on, the bouquets are even low.
I paid $100 for bride's bouquet, $50 for each bm bouquet, and $23 for each corsage, $17 for each bout, $4 per table for just 1 single stem flower at each table (I provided everything else for the tables - vases, additional decor, petals and leaves).
That's pretty cheap for tables if they are doing everything. As you can see my tables were mostly DIY except for the single $4 flower and my tables still cost me $16 each in the end.
I went to the flower mart downtown and got all my own flowers. It was so much fun and such a great memory to add to my wedding. Our wedding was outside so I picked flowers that looked like wildflowers and I put them in vintage Mason jars. It was really pretty.
It depends on the flowers somewhat, but that does sound like a great deal! I've priced out flowers from the flower mart and calculated about $40 for a bridal bouquet of peonies, roses and several other flowers and about $20 for bridesmaids bouquets. If you consider the work it takes to go there and put the flowers together, the price sounds more than fair.
The quotes you got sound great. I didn't even think about Craigslist for flowers, good tip for the budget brides.
Hi! Try Boulevard Florist in Lawndale (near corner of Hawthorne Blvd. and Rosecrans). I don't have a copy of their wedding floral price list on me but I know they can do better on the BM bouquets and boutonnieres. Not sure about the rest, but I've used them for other occassions and they have competitive prices.
Good luck!
Wow those are actually good prices.
I'm paying $150- bride $50-BMs $80-small center pieces 150-tall center pieces and $100 for the arch
@brianne - I'm also on a budget & in LA & those prices sound GREAT! What florists did you get those amazing quotes from?

I'm trying to cut costs on the wedding since my fiance has been out-of-work since last April. I thought one place I could save money was to do all my own flowers, but now I'm thinking I don't want the hassle around the wedding.
I don't want a lot of flowers, just a bridal bouquet, some smaller bouquets for my bridesmaids, a little decoration for our tiny ceremonial arch, perhaps some bouts for the guys, and single stem arrangements around a hurricane candle holder that I'm providing for each table.
I sent a request to three people on Craigslist and got pretty close quotes from two of them (still waiting on the third) that included about $80 for the bridal bouquet, $25 to $37 for the bridesmaids, $75-$85 for the arch, and $15 to $17 for the tables. Is this high, low, in-between? Where else should I be asking?
Any suggestions?
