My florist has been extremely respectful of my modest floral budget. And I think her work is beautiful!

She is also letting us provide our own vessels, to save money on rentals.

@PinkPanda:  It doesn’t hurt to call!

Peicha, the owner, is super sweet and really works with you on budget. I think as long as you are fairly open to not having a very specific kind of flower, you should be fine.

Good luck!

Not sure what you’re envisioning…but all the quotes we’ve received are at least three times that amount (and we have not gone with the pricier florists by any means). But hopefully someone can work with you! Have you ever considered Whole Foods or Wegmans in Cherry Hill? I have heard WONDERFUL things about both of them and I know they are way cheaper than any florist. Although that doesn’t solve the set-up problem, the arrangements would be put together completely so all you (or someone else) would have to do is set them up on the tables.

@PinkPanda:  I was worried about that, and my bridesmaids and other guests took care of it.  We did the flowers ourselves — I ordered most of them online, and bought some eucalyptus for filler, and then my bridesmaids put the bouquets together for me the day before.  THEY WERE AWESOME (the flowers AND the bridesmaids).  If you really want to stick to that budget, you may have to go that route.

@PinkPanda:  Who did you meet with? Hope the quote is do-able!

@PinkPanda:  I’m not in Philly, but here’s a general suggestion that you might want to consider.

Are you wanting specific flowers, or maybe just a general feel?  I know around where I am you can go and give them a budget of what you’re willing to spend and give them a rough idea of what flowers you like or what look you’re going for and they can do something up within your budget.  I also really trusted the local guy (he does most of the weddings around here and all his flowers turn out beautifully), and I wasn’t picky about what I wanted.
