@Westvillebride: How much do you consider "budget" and how long do you want your photographer for? Konrad Brattke offers a 4 hour package that is very reasonable.
We imported our photographer from Utah: Three Winks Studio. Stacy's fantastic and even with covering travel her rates are more reasonable than 99% of NYC-based photogs.

Does anyone have any tips of know of an affordable photographer in the NYC / Hudson area? Just like all the guidebooks advised, we have chosen to spend money on the things that are most important to us about our wedding day and photography is not a huge priority for either of us. We figure that we just want photographs of the ceremony and then some family shots for framing after that and that's it! It seems like all of the studios have packages which include second shooters and albums and all kinds of bells and whistles that we don't need. Does anyone know of any photographers that might suit our wedding?!
