I'm looking for a photographer on a tight budget. Does anyone know of a good photographer under or around $1,500 in the Portland area?

I would check out a local college or university. I did that and now have 2 senior photography students, working unlimited time in unlimited locations for $800! I also get every photo edited and rights to them all.

Just e-mail the art department, explaining what you want, and I'm sure they'll be able to find someone to suit your needs.

You should check out www.&unlimited.com Meredith was the 2nd shooter at our wedding and was SO amazing. I cannot recommend her enough!

We haven't met her, but she seems really nice through emails. We're getting a 1 hour engagement shoot (aka feeling each other out), and 6 hours on the wedding day, plus all rights to our photos (which she will edit), for $900.

Engagement shoot is fast approaching! April 28th.

I second the recommendation for Suzanne Simmons. She did our engagement photos and will be doing our wedding. She has done great pictures on her website to check out.
