I posted pics in another thread on here.  My budget was a little under $4500 so way under 10 grand.  The major things cost:

Venue: $400 (a little less for 133 people although I think I had more but somehow seating worked out. It was an event center and I just rented the space/hall which came with tables and chairs plus parking).  Gorgeous space.

Photographer: $220 (I was just looking for someone professional who could take decent pictures and he did an amazing job.  For all he offered, I thought it was a steal.  i got full coverage so no time limit and as many pics as I wanted him to take).

Catering: $1400 (somewhere around there.  I paid for 150 people and when I got my rsvp’s back they allowed me to allocate the “extra” money to something else so I wouldn’t lose out on those plates.  It all worked out great and the food was absolutely delicious.  I paid like $10 or so per person for 3 apps p/p, main course and desert plus unlimited all natural fruit juice and sparkling cider toast. They also include linens and table squares in that pp price…just awesome deal.)

Hair/makeup: around $140 and that included my nails, pedicure, facial and massage.  So well worth it.

Gifts: Less than $200.  I paid for all the material for the bm’s dresses but they paid for their dresses to be made which was pretty cheap.  I got the material for the guys vests and ties.  They paid for their vests, ties were a gift and made by my mil.   Plus bm’s and gm’s gifts and parent gifts and attendant gifts.

Ceremony venue: $112 for the space plus 50 chairs and 2 tables where I set up a mocktail hour.

Mocktail Hour: Less than $100

Favors: about $100

FLOWERS:  I got such an amazing awesome deal of flowers… my florist is the BOMB, like super amazing.  She worked wit me and my budget and I got all the flowers including: bouquets, bouts, centerpieces, petals for: $298.  Yup, less than $300.   I had 17 tables and she gave me a packaged deal for everything so she didn’t charge me per item.  I initially was going with 20 tables but with the extra money from having 17, she included set up and delivery and she did an amazing job.  I walked into my reception so happy and just blown away.

Cake: $100.  A simple local bakery.  I liked it well enough.  I just wanted a simple 4 layer cake.

DIY and miscellaneous stuff: less than $100.  I made a few things like my garter, the photo frame guest book, table signs and numbers, escort “sticks”, etc.

Candy buffet: around $50 plus my sister brought me a ton of candy.

Invitations: $$110 (around there) a labor of love and dh’s project for the wedding.  he did an amazing job.  It cost more than I thought it would because I wanted the fancier more expensive paper but it came out just the way I wanted it to.

DJ: $140.  he did his job for the most part.

Rentals: Less than $200 (we rented chair covers and napkins because I did not like the brown folding chair at the venue and dh wanted chair covers and I did not want to use paper napkins at my wedding).

Dh’s suit: $140 (50% off sale).  He also bought his shoes, dress shirt to go with the suit, belt and a blue button thing that I ended up throwing away by accident before the wedding (oops) at the same store.

Shoes: payless for less than $10 (ballet flats that were on clearance and I got to them first and like 2 other people were lusting after them).  I wanted sparkly blue ballet flats but didn’t want to spend $40 on them online and couldn’t find ones I liked anywhere.  The flats I bought were silver (which went with my wedding colors but I painted them blue with glitter).

And then other little things… I have my budget breakdown but too lazy to go get it.

@Waitingbee57:  I don’t remember exact figures, but I have ballpark estimates, and well under 10k! Here is what I can remember, though I’m sure I’m forgetting some things!

Church: $0. It was the church that my mother is a member of, so she made a monetary donation for the use of the building.

Reception area: $375. It was a country club, and one of my friend’s moms is a member, so we got a bit of a discount. It had a maximum occupancy of 180 people, so it was just the right size.

Food, including cake: $50 refundable deposit, somewhere around $700. Buffet style meal through a local grocery store, so I picked the option with two meats, three sides, etc.

Open Bar: $400, leftover was a tip plus some undisclosed amount my husband gave that he never told me the amount.

Photographer: $600. She was there for ten hours, I believe, and I got all of the photos on discs when she was done with them, somewhere around 2,500 to 3,000 photos.

DJ: $500. A bit pricer than I would have liked, but I got a hundred dollars off for paying in full when I booked.

Flowers: $50, max. I used silk flowers, and made them myself. This price would include other supplies such as ribbons, floral tape, and such.

Decorations: $75ish. Again, did it myself, had simple glass vases with floating candles purcahsed all from Hobby Lobby. I shopped there a lot for great sales!

Hair: $100 for four girls, including tip. Done by the girl who did my hair for prom in high school, at the church the morning of.

Makeup and Nails: $0. Done by a friend from work who was going to beauty school.

Tuxes: $500. Husband’s was a free rental, and we gifted rentals to the ring bearers and two GM.

Bridesmaid dress: $130. I ended up buying my SIL’s bridesmaid dress, because MIL didn’t offer to or give SIL money to do so.

Gifts for BM and flower girl: $100ish. Got them personalized totes, and put a few things in them.

Invitations: $250. I ordered part of them online, and had a local card company make the inserts for me.

So my total comes in at just under $4,300, but as I said I’m sure there is something I’m forgetting! I was able to save a lot by DIY projects, and my parents did help out with some things (we didn’t ask them too, but they surprised me by buying my wedding dress!) If you’re working on a budget, definitely shop around for good deals on whatever you need!
