I'm not from the area, so hopefully you can find people to provide actual locations but I wanted to suggest looking at your local parks. Often, parks can be rented for a tiny price (we're looking at one here in NY that's $40 for 4 hours) and if you can find good deals on chair/tent rentals then you'd have everything you need for a super low price. For food, you can get a good catering deal or make the food yourself with help from some family.
@jocember: Thank You... I will look into some park san francisco has beautiful ones :)
Bay area as in South Bay? Or are you willing to do North Bay as well?
@mdagio: Not sure what areas you are considering, but the few that come to mind are:
Cypress Meadows, Palmdale Estates, and Sunnyvale Community Center.
It was so hard to find a place in San Jose with a kitchen that allowed us to bring in our own food. We choose the Napredak hall. its a little over your 3,000 if we didnt choose that one we would have done the elks lodge in Santa Clara they have a beautiful outside area.
Hey did you have any luck.
My budget is right around yours and we are from the same area. I am probably going outside the bay area for my wedding. I found a great place but it isn't open in october, it is the shinn arboretium in fremont...you should check that out..it looked cute :)

Hi and thanks for reading. I am looking for an affordable venue in the bay area. We would like an outdoor ceremony/reception. We have our own caterer and Alcohol and are having 100 guest. we would like to stay under 3K for the venue. Thanks again!
