@AlmostMrsDuncan:  I bought one off Berricle for $20 then replaced it with a plain 10 kt white gold band from Walmart on sale for $48 (it’s normally $68.)  While I like the Berricle band, I was too rough with it and it seemed tarnished after a month which was disappointing.  I wish that I had gone ahead and bought the gold band from the beginning.

@beachbride1216:  Pretty sure I have the same band!

OP, my husband and I wanted bands that would last that wasn’t expensive. He has an 8mm tungsten band (from overstock.com) and I have a 2mm white gold band I ordered off walmart.com

Our bands were both around 70 bucks a piece. With tungsten you can get bands for $20 on amazon.com and they are great quality and last.

@AlmostMrsDuncan:  I would suggest looking at Blue Nile. They have plain bands that are super affordable, and if your FI wants Tungsten, some of them are around $100.

Plus they have a great and easy return policy, so if you don’t like them, you can easily exchange/return.

To @AlmostMrsDuncan:  “Affordable” means different things to different people / budgets… maybe you could give us an idea of how much you are thinking of spending on each / overall total.

Amazon.

They had some great carbon bands for under $50 (I got a stand in plain band to wear on the HM for $15)

@AlmostMrsDuncan:  Amazon has hundreds of various types of rings and bands for well under $20. You can search gold, silver, stainless steel, titanium, etc. and choose 4-star and up rated items. Pick a few you like and check the reviews to see if there were any major problems listed with the ring.

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose:  My husband also has a tungsten band but he really liked a more expensive fancy design.  He originally didn’t want a band so even though the band ended up costing $200 ($150 cheaper than what the jewelry store wanted), we skipped going out to dinner and taco nights for a few weeks to pay for it so he could have the wedding band he wanted.

I have the plain keepsake band from Walmart which looks like yours.  I like having a classic plain gold band.

@AlmostMrsDuncan:  Try JC Penney.  There was one there I was going to get, until I found a goldsmith who would make exactly what I wanted for only $50 more.  The 4 mm 10k band I was going to buy was $180, so a really thin, like 2mm, should be around your $100 mark, I’d think.

Then, come to think of it, look around for goldsmiths that make their stuff with recycled gold – that’s why my custom band ended up being so inexpensive.

@beachbride1216:  Nice! My husband’s has a checkerboard design on it (don’t know if you can really tell from the picture) and spins. Men! lol

That is the one I have, too! 🙂 and I agree I love having a classic band. I never have to worry about taking it off either, so that’s a plus! lol

My FH’s band came from amazon and it’s a black tungest carbide band and was a whopping $17.99! Lol. If you want something blingy and afford check out Lord of Gem Rings on Etsy or Ebay. I think diamond bands in 14k are around $220, which is pretty affordable for what it is, IMO. Seems like decent quality from the reviews I’ve read. You could also always get a plain gold band.
