Wow I never thought I would use the word Budget with wedding night lingerie in my life! lol

Does anyone know of any reasonable but nice wedding lingerie? I don't have anything specific in mind. Just something nice but affordable.

Don't bother ... it'll only wind up on the floor!  And mark my words, he'd prefer you nude!

Go buy yourself a pretty bathrobe that you can seductively slide off your shoulders ... you'll get more use out of that post wedding night!!!!

LacrosseBride is definitely right about getting more use out of a bathrobe.

BUt, I still loved my wedding night set. A dear friend picked it up at Ross for me for my bridal shower. I'd never thought of stores like Ross and TJMaxx for lingerie, but couldnt' have been happier with the set she bought me. It was beautiful!

Dillards had a cute set I thought about buying for $40.

Well, I'll give you the advice you actually asked for.

Really the best place to buy really cheap lingerie is online. Ebay, "adult" websites. A google search will turn up an number of reasonably priced options. Another is Frederick's of Hollywood. Theyre lingerie starts at like, $15 and goes up. You can find some cute, affordable stuff there.

And while, yes, it will end up on the floor... no man I've ever met would say no to sexy lingerie.

@michigosling: oh good idea! i didn't think of that either. good call! also when VS has sales you can sometimes get a little nighty set for like $20...

@LacrosseBride: and @coffeekitty: I have to disagree - my DH loves undressing me and would rather take me from sexy lingerie to nude himself instead of me just starting that way.

To the OP - I got my wedding night set at Kohls of all places!  And it was really inexpensive.

I'd recommend Burlington Coat Factory.  They have a lot of cute sets that start at $10, and they're surprisingly risque, considering what the rest of the store is like!

    Amazon here :)

Let me see if I can find it, it was on sale when I bought it...

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00294Q3VA/ref=oss_product

I think I paid $12; it's under 10 now. :) You don't get a lot more budget than that! The quality is pretty good too, and I was impressed with the fit (size medium, I'm an 8-10 depending on the store and wear a 36A bra)

Try H&M.  I was suprised at their lingerie selection.  Very affordable.  I also echo that PP recommendation for Kohls.

Some stuff from my shower also came from Burlington Coat Factory - I think I've only shopped their once, but their clothes were inexpensive, so I bet their lingerie is too. :)

For the day of, my husband was just happy to see my dress OFF.

I did get some cute undies and teddys for the honeymoon at Marshalls and TJMaxx.  Much more affordable for the time that it will be worn!

I bought a few cute pairs of underwear and lacy things for our honeymoon nights... but the piece my Husband liked the most? a see through tank top I picked up at THE DOLLAR STORE the day before the wedding. haha. it really doesn't get more "budget" than that!

I actually found my wedding night lingerie at TJ Maxx for $15!! It was just a litle blue corset/lacey thing that had removable garter straps that I took off because I hate wearing stockings and my husband loved it!! I would say just shop around - look at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Target, or even a department store sale (this weekend!!) and I bet you could find something!

And I agree that while my husband loves me naked he also LOVES seeing me in sexy lingerie!! I usually keep my lingerie on (and only take off my panties) during the action! I dont see why the whole thing has to come off!?

@LacrosseBride:  I am leaning with going that route myself.  I am having a very very hard time justifying $40 or $50 for what amounts to what, 1/5 of a yard of fabric!?

I love everyone's suggestions for stores!

@daydreamwanderer:  What kind of cups / support did it have?  I can't tell from the pic or description.  I am a D cup and need a defined "bra" type top.  Do you think this would work?

I got a wedding night chemise at JCPenney.  I bought it online for $30, so I'm hoping I like it when it comes in.

I"m thinking about buying a few honeymoon pieces at Frederick's of Hollywood.  They are more risque, but they are affordable.

Totally second Fredricks'.  They have some great stuff for 20-25 dollars. I'm sure my husband would like for me to splurge on some of the more risque stuff there too *blushes*...Embarassed

I got all excited with a couple I found on Sears.com.  I don't understand it but apparently, much like Amazon, they sell for other stores, so these were actually from Kmart.com!!  (we don't have Kmart in my city anymore).  Anyway they were adorable and under $10 and of course, ALL out of stock. :(

Charlotte Russe has some surprisingly scandalous stuff! They have sexy panties for pretty cheap and sell a few corsets and things too.

Frederick's of Hollywood is where it's at! You can wait until they have a sale and get a whole bunch of stuff for very little!  Right now, you can pick up white babydolls or chemise (about 10 styles) for $15 in their clearance section! They have some awesome corsets for $30 on clearance too! If you really want something risque, their seduction collection has two piece sets for $15 and teddies for less than $20!  Personally, Frederick's is the only place I shop. It's cheap enough to where I don't care how long it stays on, but my man just loves everything they have... He even gets a catalog now so he can shop for me!!! With their prices, I get surprise gifts about every three months (sales.. Lol!).

    Good luck!

@MsInterpret: Kmart and Sears are one company now...So they sell things from both places on their websites.

@kate169:  Oooooh!  Okay, I get it now.  I had no idea.  KMart left our city several years ago so I am out of the loop. :)  Anyway I was frustrated, they don't say "out of stock" when you first view the item, only when you try and add it to the cart, even though all sizes were out of stock!  Boo-hoo, it was adorable.

I thought we were supposed to get all this stuff from the bridal shower? One of my BM's, who is also my cousin, has been known to walk into VS and drop hundreds of dollars.. I'm talking $600-$700 a trip. I'm just assuming she'll take care of me? lol she knows I'm pretty much the cheapest person on the planet!

@jamiemichelle:  I hope that happens for you!   Me, personally... well I have no bridal party as far as BMs or any of that.  Our wedding party will be my 2 sons and our 7 year old daughter.  Doubtful any of them are buying me lingerie! LOL!  MY BFF from jr. high is totally self absorbed (I was her MOH in 1989!!)... my SIL is the only one interested in talking wedding stuff with me but she has no money and isn't even sure she will make it to the wedding.  So likely no shower happening here!

@kate169:  Hmm.  Well it's a strange marriage but whatever!  I grew up in a time when kids wearing Kmart clothes were teased mercilessly. ;)  Yeah I'm old.
