I was thinking about doing them for my fiance. I think its such a good gift when they are done tastefully. What guy wouldnt want that gift from their new wife?
I did it for Mr. Lab and he LOVED it. It really just depends on your comfort level and what your groom's interested in. You can make the boudoir photos very modest to full-blown Maxim/Victoria's Secret sexiness. That's what's great about them, they're totally customizable to you and your groom!
I am planning to do them. I know my guy will be surprised but honestly, it's more for me to gain more confidence in my body image (which I think will in turn increase my confidence in the bedroom) and serve as a workout motivation tool. I didn't really know about them before wedding planning but I think they are quite popular.
If I felt like my body was rockin' enough for me to be comfy doing them, I totally would have (and possibly still might - once I get that rockin' bod. Meaning, a figure I'm personally comfortable with).

I thought -- Wow, if I can look anything like that, sign me up! I ended up doing a boudoir shoot with a friend who's a photographer and my DH was *very* happy I did. 
There are so many styles that you can do. Some women do a bit of nudity; I did everything in bra/panties or see-through clothes because this is what I was most comfortable in. Here's a sample shot:

I think it's an awesome idea, I plan on doing one! I just have to get my body in the shape that I'd be comfortable with, but my friend is a photog who'll be doing them and she said she can photoshop anything! haha
Do it!! I'm doing them as a birthday present to myself (getting them done my bday weekend) and as a wedding present for FI. My bday is in February so I gotta get my butt in gear. I figure this body isn't going to last forever, and I'd like to have some tasteful pics to remember it!
