I ordered mine from a grocery store. I had 3-4 vintage vases on each table. It took 2 slightly drunk ladies to cut and arrange centrepieces (14 tables) maybe an hour. Thats the great thing about the wildflower look- not very fussy. We put them in a bucket of water beforehand and straight into the vases the night before, left them on tables all night. They’d arrived at the grocers’ Wednesday night. They held up wonderfully.

All for $500 (including the 3 bouquets we made). Made it an easier pill to swallow when cleaning them up/chucking half of them the day after.

No pictures back yet, sorry.

I did fiftyflowers!  One of my boxes didn’t make it (just never showed – delivery problem not the fault of they company) but they refunded my money same day and I just bought some fillers from Costco to plump the arrangements up.  It was truly no big deal.  They called me as soon as the packages were marked delivered in their system (minutes after I signed!) so we knew right away I was missing some flowers and everything worked out fine.  We spent about $800 to make 20 arrangements.  It took my cousin several hours to put them all together, but she’s a perfectionist.

We considered going with fiftyflowers or costco, but I wasn’t thrilled with the numbers of flowers I’d habe to get from fiftyflowers or the selection at costco. We ended up getting bulk flowers from our local florist who is the wholesaler for the area. Their flowers cost the same per stem as fiftyflowers, but we were able to buy however many we wanted (as few as we wanted for any particular flower). My MIL thrifted about 120 bud vases of different shapes and sizes and painted about 70% of them in different shades of blue and purple. I picked up our flowers on Friday for our Saturday wedding and spent a couple of hours trimming them and putting them in vases. My MOH and SIL helped with that, too. In all I’d say we spent about two hours on the flower stuffing and about $400 total (flowers, vases, paint). We had 14 tables with 7 vases each with leftover vases for the bar, cake table, guest book table, etc.

Also, if you don’t want as many flowers as fiftyflowers makes you buy, check out flowermoxie.
