If the twine is your vision, just add the extra stamp. No one will even notice that.

I would personally add the second stamp… No one will notice. I certainly don’t. The only reason I ever look at envelopes is to see who it’s from and make sure the contents are addressed to me.

Lose the twine. I think the invitations look lovely and the twine a bit messy to be honest. A second stamp wouldn’t bother me from a visual perspective though. I am a bride who put ACDC stamps on some of my invitations though because they didn’t have any pretty stamps left at the post office though.

I am going to have to use two stamps on my invitations and it never crossed my mind that it would be considered tacky. People understand how postage works, they’re not thinking you’re just decorating your envelopes with stickers for fun. These are the things you need to let go of and just focus on the purpose of your day.

The invitations really do look amazing, and I don’t think that either fix will change that. The extra stamp is fine. I never really look at the outside of an envelope, while the actual invitation will stay on my fridge or around my house. It sounds like you really love the twine and that it was important to you. If you think you can take it off and be happy, that is also great.

I have never noticed the stamp(s) on an invite. If the extra postage is within your budget I would jest add the stamp.

soontobehisbride:  I think so. I mean I’d go for something that was similar if possible, but really who is going to give the envelope more than a glance? If the stamps are ones that you bought from the post office, you may be able to order matching ones online even if your local store is out, if it is really that important to you. You can get them delivered to you for a very small charge.

I would drop the twine.

I’m confused, is that the final look? You can see the info on the outside? I’d be more worried about that getting dirty and being hard to read.

Add the stamp! I had to hand tie a ton of bows on my invites and would be broken hearted if I had to remove all of them. Nobody is going to notice the envelope, especially once they see the beautiful invitation inside.
