I carried a boy and my belly was a total basketball...I would share a photo I have but its a bare belly so its covered in stretch marks! It's actually kind of scary.
Im carrying super low and am ALL bump-no weight gain anywhere else or in the face...and I am having a girl, so the wives tale is not true in my opinion. This was from 31 weeks, Im almost 36 now, but I dont look much different
Jeez. Sorry its so huge, I thought I resized it down. Yikes...
I am going to be 26 weeks on Friday, and this pic was taken late last week, so I am probably about 25 weeks in this pic, or maybe a day shy. I am having a girl. So far there has been pretty minimal weight gain in other areas- I think my regular jeans have gotten a little tighter in the butt and thigh area so maybe there is a little extra there. I don't think my boobs look any bigger but my pre pregnancy bras no longer fit so they must have grown. Sorry the room is so messy- I fire off these pics really quickly early in the morning when the husband is out of the room because I don't want to do this in front of anyone.
Here's my latest pic at 35 weeks. I've gained everywhere, not just in the belly :( I'm having a girl, and I've heard they steal your pretty, so I guess I'm ok with that.
(Excuse the no make-up and glasses, this was when I went in for the c-section) I was 39 weeks here with a boy. I didnt gain any weight besides in my belly.
The old wifes tale wasn't true for me...I had a baby girl and gained about 23-25lbs all belly. This picture was taken at about 36 weeks
I'm Team Green, but am all basketball belly with no weight gain anywhere else. I was carrying high, but dropped last week. Here's me at week 28; I'm now in week 35.
this is me about a week ago, at 31 weeks. i'm having a boy. for me, the wives tales were pretty true - my tummy sits right out in front like a bowling ball. i'm a thick girl as it is, but all my pregnancy weight went right to my stomach - so much pressure! many strangers have guessed that i'm having a boy, and they were right!
The wives tales were true for me! Her heartbeat was over 140, I carried high (too high!) and I craved sweet things.

I was pretty small! When I went to my last doctors appointment the other girls in the room were saying they had like 4 months left then asked me how long I had and said I must have a while because I'm tiny.. nope, I was due Thursday! hahaha
This was taken today at 30 weeks. I'm carrying pretty high and I'm all belly. I'm having a BOY! :)

Hey everyone...being that I am team green and do not know the gender of our little munchkin, as our due date approaches I find myself looking up "old wives tales" to guess the gender of the baby before the due date. The one I'm finding most common is how you're carrying...so I was hoping some of the other pregnant bees would share their bump pictures and the gender of their little one :) Thought this might be fun to see how different everyone carries as well!
