I cant decide what kind of bunting to do!
I think there are something like 38 rafters. The barn is 75 long by 25 wide. We could either but bunting/flags on every other rafter , making them a little more than 25′ long and then interspersing lights. kinda like:
Except they would just be below each rafter? or.. maybe inbetween??
But then part of me also likes the messier look where they cross over eachother, But I would want it to be a kind of “even messiness” although ive mainly seen this with tents, and I think it would be harder to plan in the barn..dimentions and amounts.. unless I can come up with some kind of criss cross thing that would work. i’d just rather have it planned out in advance and so that stresses me out a little.
What do you think.. have you done either..? Any Advice or suggestions? Thanks!
Also if I am doing them to fit the 25′ wide barn..how much longer should I make them so they drape?

decorating advice anyone?

Can’t help with dimensions… But I like the straight ones with the lights.

I definitely like the one with no gaps in between – about to start my own!

Your venue has a great ceiling/rafters. Love it! What about hanging the buntings in alternating v shapes? I’ve made a really pathetic paint drawing of what I mean. LOL Hopefully it makes sense.

@cowoman I think that might be a simple way to overlap.. how do you think I should arrange the lights in that case though?

I would do like cowoman suggests, but skip a rafter in between. On the skipped rafters, put the lights.

Yeah, I’d do what @ennie suggested or still do my first suggestion and just do lights straight across on every other or every third rafter.
