I definitely burped more! I rarely did before and then I couldn’t hold it in! Now I have reflux and have somehow lost the ability to burp so now I celebrate if I’m able to lol. Funny how things work!

No advice but I’ve been burping like a trucker too!! I’m just embracing it – I spend a lot of time alone 😛

Yes, tons of burping, especially in first and second trimester, and not at all realated to nausea or anything I ate.  I think it has lessened somewhat in my third trimester, although I probably still burp more than pre-pregnancy.  No advice here on how to make it less, unfortunately.

Not so much in first tri, but now that babe is pushing all my organs upwards (24.5 weeks), I have TERRIBLE heartburn and I burp quite a bit (I literally NEVER used to burp pre-pregnancy, like..I don’t know how and it never just happened).  But my burps usually feel good bc they are making more room in my crowded stomach! Haha. I think it’s also my baby boy has turned me half-boy…I burp and toot constantly now. Yaaaay, DH thinks it’s just such a treat to live with me right now 😛

@ZoeyGirl:  It’s due to changes in your overall digestive system because of pregnancy hormones. Unless you’re drinking lots of carbinated beverages or eating foods which cause excess gas (beans, dark, leafy greens…etc), there’s not much you can do about it! Just one of the many glamorous symptoms of pregnancy 🙂

Yes! It’s been my primary pregnancy symptom so far!

Tons of burping even after my MS went away. DH calls me the burping machine. It’s not related to anything I eat.

It’s pretty gross, isn’t it? I keep burping a LOT too. I think it’s normal, unfortunately!

I’ve been burping a lot, but yesterday I didn’t burp so much. I got terrible cramps and got nervous I was going to MC, turns out it was a gas bubble. I’ll take some burping over that any day!

Me…. so much more than usual.  Most nights i can’t even lie down to go to bed, I have to sit up and wait for a while.  It is so annoying.

I tease my DH by calling them “eruptions of love.” In reply, he asked me, “Isn’t that how we got here in the first place?”
