@howtobeawife:  But I’m sure there’s so much other work that you’re doing that adds value and expertise (other than the uncessary $25k stuff).

Don’t worry about her. People get funny about other people’s success.

Congrats on reducing waste and cost, good for you! (oh and remember that for your resume in case you ever need to update it…. !)

That’s pretty ridiculous, considering you were hired to improve AND maintain… so your salary is basically in addition to the costs of the process, so you ARE saving the company money!  At least in my eyes 😛

That’s dumb; don’t listen to that B LOL.

My vent: I just started this antibiotic that is making my mouth taste like metal, so I have been munching on chocolate covered caramels for the past few hours (it’s 11 am here!)

@howtobeawife:  Thankfully food tastes fine! Water is disgusting though… Ughh 3 pills a day for 10 days 🙁 Boooo! And I can’t drink while I’m on it! LOL.

Well, unless they created that position just for you, then someone else would be doing it if you weren’t.

Sounds like someone’s jealous (or just likes to complain)!
I wouldn’t be talking to her about the savings you’re able to find anymore (if she doesn’t need to know, that is)

How much does whining about someone else’s job/salary cost the company?
Can you save some time/money there? 😀
