so I just started a program specifically geared towards tour/tech/live events etc to get into the music side of events.
ive been to school already for Event Planning and have done very minimal work with it once I left school for reasons I’m not going to explain right now but I am and always was very interested.
I’m not sure what aspect of the field I am going to leave the course with yet. It will be either a tour manager, stage production, or more on the business side. I’m leaning more towards the stage management and more localized tours.
Our instructor wants us to do up business cards by next week with our area of interest on it but I don’t know what title to use because I don’t want to mislead people when I hand out my business card during the course. We will be handing them out to prominent people in the industry and artists.
I was going to use “live events” but I’m not sure Because I overheard a girl saying she was using that.
Any input or ideas?

I don’t have any ideas for titles but I went thru moo.com for my business cards. I used their template.

What about something like Media or Multi-Media Management?

I don’t want to get you in trouble… But, cards and things that always stuck are things like – Kick Ass Events, Events for Dummies, How To Make A Damn Good Event. I know your handing cards to people who have money. But, you have to ask yourself how many cards do those people get? What do people remember several days later? But, you have to be bold enough to feel comfortable with it. The other trick is not the name but how the card looks. You can google something like – the best business card images. Some amazing images will pop up. Kinkos has graphic designers on staff. It costs but its your business.

@chica95110: well my issue isn’t the design of the card but the title I should be putting on it. I don’t want to be misleading.
