Bustiers go all the way down and cover your tummy, but they have bra-like cups. Corsets are flat all the way across and have no cups. If you want to show cleavage with a dip in your dress, I recommend a bustier. Corsets are great for cleavage but, in my opinion, look better with straight necks.
I actually haven't been bustier shopping since before prom in high school, so, unfortunately, I don't really know what's out there as far as brands go.

My strapless dress is fairly straight across the chest with a slight dip and I'd like to show some cleavage. Are bustiers and corsets the same thing? Any recommendations for a bustier that slims the tummy and creates a nice cleavage?
