How should I have the bustle done for Marisa 860? There are two layers of silk organza attached to the dress. It is very airy and that is why I loved it! But the bustle part is tough and I don’t want people to step on my dress.

I can’t really tell what the back looks like and there aren’t very many pictures of that dress online, but from what it looks like there are already pickups in the back. Your seamstress should be able to bustle the dress where the picups are to keep the integrity of the shape already there. I think if the back mimics the asymmetry of the front that would be a really pretty bustle if done well.

I would say a French? That’s what I’m having. Mine has 7 points, and looks great!

Thank you! I just took my dress to the seamstress tonight. She was so patient to figure out how to make the bustle work.
mcnetn3, you think the same as my seastress. She bustle the dress where the pickups are in the back. So the front flows to the left and the back flows to the right. Too bad that I forgot to take some photos.
