How would you ladies bustle this dress? The second pic is us just playing around at my first fitting but I don’t think I like it very much. The last pic is for reference of what the dress looks like, and it shows just how very happy I am with it on! I can’t wait to go back for my next fitting as the back will be “V”ed and the sweetheart neckline will be put in.

This link will show you all the different types.
I’m having a French Bustle because my train is chiffon.

Try an over bustle. I’m not a huge fan of any kind of bustle, but obviously, they’re necessary (for most people,) and I’ll have one too. Just play around with it some more.

I would go for a 1 or 3 point over-bustle. I think it’s also called the American bustle.

I would go for the American bustle as well. Mine just pinned in one spot (although there was a hook on the inside for some of the fabric, so all the weight wasn’t on that spot and that spot alone. However, I would get more than one spot where it is pinned. Mine actually broke. I wasn’t expecting it to be an issue, so I didn’t ask the seamstress to reinforce it. However, my husband’s aunt & uncle kept making me lead a dance train, and his aunt kept stepping on the bottom of my dress and tore the attachment!

This dress would be perfert for something a little different.
Have a look at other posts for ballroom and austrian bustles! Each are very different looks, however both would be perfect with your dress!
