Does anyone have a picture of what a Royal Bustle looks like? or is this just another name for a French Bustle? I am wearing a ballgown with a long train & alterations are this Saturday. Trying to have an idea of what type of bustle I want – I think I want a poufy bustle ~ ha~ the only time I want my behind to be poufy! 🙂
Here is the back of the dress – I’m going to wear a crinoline so it will be more poufed out but any suggestions on bustle?

Here are some examples of royal bustles. They are supposed to be reminiscent of Victorian gowns. They gather the train up rather than just tucking it over or under.

check out these bustles: http://www.projectwedding.com/wedding-ideas/bustles-for-your-gown
you could probably do a three-point overbustle and be fine, but i think the austrian one looks neat!
