for brides that had dresses with lots of buttons I know you can buy from the dress store those button latches but, seems like a silly expense ( at the moment) I was wondering if you think a crotchet needle would work just as well or is it really not as hard as it looks to use your hands ( or mom or maid if honors hands anyway lol)

My bridal salon recommended a crotchet needle, but i’m not sure how hard it is.

Plastic orange peelers work great!

I was just going to suggest a little crotchet hook. I haven’t personally buttoned a wedding dress with one, but that’s what I’ve heard recommended many times. Make sure that you do a trial run or two with whoever is buttoning you up.

A plastic crotchet hook was what was used for mine.

Yup, a crochet hook worked great for my bridesmaids to get me buttoned up!

Another vote for a crochet hook – that’s what I used too! For my girlfriend’s wedding, I actually ended up using a toothpick to help her unbutton before her and her hubby went up to the room! He was threatening a pocket knife haha!
