FOR MY FIRST WEDDING in nov 2005(WIDOW) i bought a dress from mary’s bridal and although it was beautiful i only had a few weeks so i had to get a dress i liked that could be ready in a couple weeks. i dont wanna rush this time and enjoy my bridal experience.

You have plenty of time to make a decision, but it never hurts to start looking around. Try a few on and get an idea of what shape you like on yourself, and what feel you are looking for.
I bought an Ella dress, and their lead time is 8 months. So as long as you give yourself plenty of time for ordering and alterations you will be fine.
Also, maybe think of a corset back. because that way if you do loose weight in this final months it wont be hard to cinch the dress in. 🙂

Since you have so much time, I would start looking (online, in magazines, etc. to get ideats about what is stylish and what you like) about 16 months in advance and start shopping mayeb 10-12 months in advance. Styles will change and stock will turn over. You should wait until the dresses you’re looking at are the dresses that will be current on your wedding day.
