There’s tons of info on this if you search for it in the little search bar 🙂

But to answer your question, I wouldn’t buy a knock off for a number of reasons.  First, I’d be unhappy since I fell in love with the original and there’s NO way it’ll look identical. Second, I needed to try on several dresses before I picked one.  Third, it could end up being a huge waste of money in the end, then you’re trying to buy yet another dress but are $200 from the knock off you bought that was nothing like you thought it’d be.

I’d just go for one of the many designers who offer reasonably priced gowns. You can find a gorgeous dress for $99.

Have you looked at finding your dress used? You might like that better, because the fabric and construction will be exactly the same, but it will still cost less. if not, I think knockoffs can be a good option, just make sure to get pics before they ship it and pay with paypal or a credit card that you can dispute the charges on if it’s not right.

I bought a knock-off dress from China on ebay and I couldn’t be happier with it! I paid €100 (140 USD) which included shipping! The original is Mori Lee 2163 and there are slight differences but overall my dress is stunning. Sorry I dont have any pics because the batteries in my camera are dead but I’ll be posting some as soon as I can.

I found a shop on ebay that had good reviews from buyers who had made several purchases. I never trust buyers with only one purchase because most of the time it’s shilling. Do alot of research before you buy, I did and it worked out great! Good luck!

I bought my dress for $144 from DressilyMe and I LOVE it! It is a fabulous replica of a $1500 Maggie and because it is a custom size no alterations needed. I highly recommend!

I bought my replica dress from Jasmine Bridal, and would do it all over again. The quality was GREAT! and the dress was just perfect. Here’s some pics, wedding was 2 weeks ago.

The original dress is a Sottero & Midgley ASM 3297, which (if you can find!) costs almost 2500. I paid $600 including express shipping and extra beading…Here goes!
