I bought one from recycled birde and also pre owned wedding dresses.com -yes, I bought two (actually 3, dont ask haha) all of which were good deals, although pay close attention to the measurements, in case they were altered… so you can be sure of what you are ordering, one dress wa a 6P instead of 6, but that was fixable, other than that I had a wonderful experience and the ladies I worked with were very nice, they even sent a thank you card with congrats inside.

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. watch for weird emails, too much interest or well, you can just kind of tell, with weird verbiage, etc, usually a scam.

good luck!!!

@babbot:  +1

There are a TON of sites (similar to the ones you’ll see hawking “legit” jerseys) that say they can provide replica dresses/custom designs for you.  My advice:  STAY AWAY.  Stick with the popular sites (OnceWed, etc) or even hit up craigslist and eBay.

@angilala43:  Both of the above suggestions are options if your budget won’t stretch for a new original.

However, I would like to offer you a third option – Jasmines Bridal Shop.  No need for me to elaborate, just do a search on Weddingbee and you will read (and see) lots of amazing stories and dresses.  There is a main thread with 4 parts.

@angilala43:  I was on the edge of using JJsHouse, and then I started digging deeper into reviews and found that they are horrendous. Wrong mesurements but blaming the customer, wrong colour, rubbish detailing and sending you something that doesn’t even look like the picture you ordered from. I figured that if the prices seem too good to be true, they probably are.

@Aussiemum:  The only online company I would trust (because I have used them for all of the dresses for my daughter’s wedding) is Jasmines Bridal Shop.  Yes, they are more expensive than all the other online companies, but they deliver and are trustworthy and produce the most amazing dresses.

@angilala43:  JJHouse is a made-to-order service isn’t it? If you only just ordered it, it won’t be shipped for atleast another 3 weeks (depending on what their terms are).

@angilala43:  Exactly! You don’t know unless you’ve tried. And you never know, your dress may turn up and be perfect, or only need slight alterations. Think positive 🙂
