- Wedding: June 2015 - Hornsbury mill
I’ve fallen in love with a pair of wedding shoes I’m not getting married until next year and haven’t got my dress would you buy the shoes? They are a great price and I dont want to regret buying them
these are the shoes.

I bought my shoes months before I even looked at dresses. Unless you’re planning on wearing a short dress where the shoes will show a lot I don’t think it really matters.

- Wedding: January 2013 - Harbourfront Grand Hall
@Kerry-Annxo: I bought my “dream shoes” before the dress and ended up not wearing them because if I bought something with a 1.5″ higher heel I wouldn’t have to shorten the length of my dress, which I didn’t want to do! 2 years later the shoes are still unworn in my closet 🙁

Pro: You’ll already know how the dress needs to be hemmed.
Con: They’re white/ivory. Will you be concerned about them matching the dress exactly? If they were a pop of colour, I would say go for it. But if you have any concerns about the shade of white, I’d be leery.

If they were colorful, I’d say go ahead, because they would be a statement and it would be fine. However, being rather “classical”, I’d be concerned whether they will match your dress. If you’re wearing an ivory dress, I’m not so sure white shoes would look too good with these.
However, they’re not too expensive and they will always work as nice summer dress shoes, so if you’re really concerned they’re not going to have them anymore once you find your dress and you just know you’re alwas going to think of them as the ones, go ahead and buy them.

@Kerry-Annxo: I would wait, simply because you don’t know what color dress you’ll end up with!

@Kerry-Annxo: I bought both pair of my shoes before I got my dress. In fact those were probably the first 2 things I had for the wedding!
