@jb20:  Check out somewhere like Zappos.com since they have free shipping both ways and amazing customer service if you don’t actually like the shoes.

@jb20:  i got mine on zappos and had great success with the site and service!  They have so many brands and have great filters on their site so you can find what you want

I just bought the most beautiful shoes on BHLDN. If you haven’t heard of them, check them out! They have gorgeous wedding stuff.

I second the recommendation to use sites that offer free shipping and returns. Shoes need to be tried on before purchase. If I had to pay the shipping and return I would never order online, as it would become prohibitively expensive.

I like to check out the shoe on Zappos, because they post videos – I can see whether the model has trouble walking in them, if the heels wobble, if the toes seem crushed.

I also know what type of shoe WORKS for my foot/stride. I need a heel that goes directly under my foot’s heel – so a heel toward the back of the shoe or too far to the outside edge is a no-go for me. I also need a wider toe box so the balls of my feet don’t get crushed.
There are other details I know from trying on tons of shoes  for flats, sneakers, etc.

I just bought a pair of shoes online after trying on a few of the manufacturer’s shoes in DSW over the last few months – I saw a pair I wanted for my wedidng shoes (hopefully they work!) but they didn’t have my size. Since the bigger size had a wider toe bed than other shoes I tried on, I took a gamlbe and ordered them from 6pm.

I use Piperlime a lot. They’re great and they have amazing sales. There’s one going on right now! Also, if you’re using any shopping site (Zappos, Piperlime, Amazon, DSW, etc.), it’s smart to cross-check everything and to make sure you are getting the best price.

I bought mine New in Box off of eBay!

They were MASSIVELY on-sale, so I crossed my fingers and bought them! Luckily, they fit perfectly.

@jb20:  I love zappos….they offer free shipping and returns and often their pricing is lower as well! I order from them a lot! Also DSW has good pricing and a good selection!
