Just venting a little. I love bargains! As such I am actively searching for the items I want for our reception/celebration party online. I don’t mind buying things full price, but would prefer not to. Ha! As I’m sure is the case for a lot you out there. Here are some things that have come to seriously bother me about some brides who post their items for sale.
1. Not removing items when they’re already sold. Why?!
2. Never responding.
3. Responding that the item is available and then selling it to someone else. Again.. why, why must you tempt me?! Just let me know that someone else inquired and they have dibbs.
4. Scammers. Taking advantage of brides on a budget is horrible!
5. Telling me how mush someone else offered you so that I will give you better offer.
Example: I found a great deal for chair covers. Even with shipping they would be under $2/cover. Bride tells me they are still available and will get back to me about an exact shipping price. I get an email from her – she sold them to someone else and sends me the link to where I can get them online for $2.50/cover + tax. Gee, thanks!
Anyone else have any frustrations with their bargain hunting?
