I just ordered my dress a few weeks ago – should I have ordered my veil at the same time or is it OK to wait until you start having your fittings? I don’t even know how long it takes to get a veil, though I imagine it can’t be that long….
I was thinking about going back to the salon to try on veils but if it can wait I guess I can wait too.

I ordered mine at the same time but my veil came in almost a month before my dress did… My veil arrived within a month of ordering it!

I bought my veil the day I ordered my dress, but because it was a discontinued style and they couldn’t order another one, I went home with the “floor model” veil that day.
Your wedding date says March so I would think you have plenty of time to order one if you want to wait! I’m not ordering my slip until my dress comes in, because I want to gauge what fullness of slip I want on a dress that actually fits me, not a sample size. I think accessories probably take less time to come in than actual dresses do.
If you’re in doubt, call up the place you bought your dress from and ask them how long veils usually take to come in. That should give you an idea as to when you need to order yours.

I did not order mine the same day because it was almost 400 dollars at the boutique. I ordered mine from Etsy and it was 30.

OK my friends all seemed to get their veils when they got their dresses, or didn’t wear a veil. I just started to have a minor panick attack! I don’t want anything really ornate or anything either.
I’m going back to my salon next month to look at Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses so I will ask then.
