For all those c section mommies out there.

I had one 5 weeks ago. Started to feel great after 2 weeks, soreness went away, incision looks great and feels great. However, I woke up this morning and out of the blue I feel like I felt at the 2 week mark, lots of soreness when I couch/sneeze, hold the baby or walk or get up from siting.

I called the Dr and went in to see him today and he said everything looks fine and feels fine internally.

Just wondering if anyone else has felt this way a few weeks later. I haven't worked out or done anything over the top, though DS is probably pushing 12 pounds now and I carry the carseat to and from the car when I go out.

Wow really? I wasn't released to carry anything over 10 lbs until 6 weeks, and not the carseat WITH the baby til 8 weeks! I think you should step back and try not to over-do. If your dr said you're ok I would trust him but be cautious, and if you have any other signs of pain or anything strange immediately let him know. You can't be too careful!

I had my c-section 4 weeks ago... So far I'm healing great, but it is still sore when I laugh too much or when I get up without pushing with my arms, that never went away.

I was told not to lift the baby in the carseat and I haven't done it so far. Can't wait though, 'cause I'd like to get out of the house when DH is at work.

Maybe it isn't helping for you?

I felt random soreness a few weeks later too. Still try to limit what you are picking up/doing.

If the doc says all is well, then I hope all is!

I haven't had a c-section (no baby yet, still TTC) but I did have a 3-inch incision in that spot when I had to have a cyst and tube removed. I wouldn't really call it pain, I had different "sensations" around my incision below the skin and into the muscle for like 4 months.

Stop carrying baby in the carseat. I had a c-section 4 months ago and I was told not to lift for 10wks.

Yes, please stop carrying the car seat!!  I thought between the 4-6 week mark since I was feeling so much better I could sneak in carrying the car seat with baby in it!  NOOO.  each time I did it would start up the bleeding again.  Please take it easy, even if you are feeling great.
